A royal expert has speculated that Princess Beatrice may alter her Christmas arrangements to avoid leaving Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson on their own during the festive season. Despite initial plans to spend the holidays with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's family, Ingrid Seward hinted that Beatrice might adjust their plans so her parents aren't left alone.

This speculation arises amidst rumours that Andrew and his former spouse Sarah won't be joining the traditional Royal gathering at Sandringham this year. The Duke of York, who has been embroiled in various scandals recently, including connections to an alleged Chinese spy, is expected to skip the customary Sandringham walk to St Mary Magdalene Church and the pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace for the wider Royal Family.

With Andrew's anticipated absence from the festivities, it appears Sarah Ferguson will also skip the event, despite attending last year's royal procession. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Seward expressed her belief that Beatrice will ensure her parents are not left alone, stating: "Somehow or other, I think that Fergie and Andrew will be with Beatrice, Edo and the kids, either at Royal Lodge or the in-laws.

"She is very close to her father and will want to support him and be with him at this time."

The expert suggested that while Sarah would prefer to be surrounded by loved ones, Prince Andrew might enjoy some solitude, adding: "I cannot possibly see Fergie sitting alone at Royal Lodge," reports Surrey Live.

She continued to explain that Sarah, who has a wide social circle, would likely spend time with her daughters, stating: "She has lots of friends and family and would want to be with them. Andrew possibly wouldn't mind. He would sit there in front of the TV, but Sarah would organise something with Beatrice."

Despite their split over three decades ago, Sarah and Andrew have maintained a friendly relationship, sharing a home at the Royal Lodge. Ingrid Seward elaborated on their unique living arrangement: "Certainly, Fergie has endured many tough Christmases since her separation from Andrew in 1992.

"Although she and Andrew remained close - they are divorced but live together at Royal Lodge - for a while she spent Christmas on her own at Wood Farm, a five-bedroom house on the Sandringham Estate."

The King and other senior royals are said to be 'exasperated' by Andrew. Royal sources confirmed Andrew had "done the right thing" by stepping away from the Christmas gathering.

Sarah Ferguson recently said she will always support the father of her children. She said: "I was utterly in love with Andrew. I would do it all over again, 100 per cent.

"He's the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind. Our wedding was the best day of my life. But I gave up my anonymity that day. I was able to because love conquers all. It's still with us today. I won't let him down."
